Desc: The Child of Calais: Directed by Stéphanie Lesieur. Anne, a woman shattered by her husband's death, has withdrawn into herself. The images on TV of the 'Jungle' of Calais and the meeting with Stella, a young neighbour who is becoming more radical, will force her to get out of her shell. She then tries to reconnect with her son Milo but he rejects her. She gets lost and dragged Stella, while she refuses, into her escape to Calais. Out there she meets a child migrant who lost his mother, and finds refuge with him and Stella in a family house in Saint Malo. There she reconnects with the memories of her son and her husband, and decides to take the child migrant to England. It is not she who will eventually take him there, but her meeting with the 'others' will show her the way to talk to her son. She gives him an appointment near his house, and Milo will be there.
